Chargeable weight calculator: gross weight vs volumetric weight

Compare actual gross weight against volumetric weight across air, courier, road and sea freight.

Methodology & Quick Reference

Carriers bill on chargeable weight — whichever is larger between actual gross weight and volumetric weight. For air freight, volumetric weight in kg is volume in cm³ divided by 6000 (or CBM × 166.67). Courier uses 5000, road groupage 3000, and sea LCL charges 1 CBM as 1,000 kg.
